Vita Per Nex, chapter 1/?
The room was boiling. Subterranean was supposedly cooler, and it kept wandering ghouls from stumbling upon them, but it was bloody hot and Integra was soaked with sweat. She'd stripped her jacket off hours ago, and forced herself to drink the water that was only marginally cooler than the air; dehydration was not on her list of things to accomplish. Unfortunately, rebuilding the world was.
She'd prefer a good case of dehydration.
"Where is---" A hacking cough interrupted her and Seras was at her side in an instant. Integra waved her off and took several deep breaths before taking another sip of water. "Where
A Multitude of Sins
Bubbles could hide a multitude of sins.
Integra sighed softly and settled back against the neckrest of the clawfoot tub she reclined in, tensing every once in a while before the steaming water relaxed her once more. She closed her eyes and bit her lower lip gently.
There was a knock at the bathroom door. Integra paused, eyes refocusing as she opened them and shifted one leg.
"What?" she asked irritably.
"I've returned," Alucard answered. He'd learned better than to simply walk in on her.
She sighed and rolled her eyes. There was a pause for breath, then she shifted lower into the bath, covering herself to her ne

Walter stood by the limo, holding the door open for her.
"Integra! Wait up!"
She stopped and turned, looking back at the boy running to catch up with her. He stopped and leaned forward, hands on his thighs as he panted for breath.
"Winston. What is it?"
He looked up at her and grinned. He was always grinning. "What are you doing for your history assignment?" The young girl raised an eyebrow and giggled, though he wouldn't get the joke.
"Vlad Tepes."
"Mr. Vampire?"
The dungeon door creaked as it opened and Integra frowned. She'd told Walter to oil it. The lights weren't on, either, and the switch didn't work. The pl
Lullaby
Walter closed the door softly and sighed.
"How is she?"
He glanced at the vampire with a shrug. "She's had a rough day. Rest will do her good. What happened?"
"How the hell should I know? One moment I'm dead, then there's virgin blood all over me and Richard's trying to kill the girl."
"And then you slaughtered all of them."
Alucard snorted. "I'm not the one who put a bullet in Richard's brainpan. I wouldn't want to taste his blood, anyway."
Walter gave him a sharp look. "Who killed Richard, then?"
He jerked a chin toward the closed door. "Miss Hellsing. I see why Arthur left it all to her. Wasted neither tim

Integra studied her papers carefully, her luminous eyes darting back and forth behind the large lenses of her glasses. There was far too much work to do, and she had little time to do it. As she scribbled her signature over a document, ordering the relocation and counseling of witnesses to the most recent vampire incident, she glanced at the clock which sat on the edge of her desk.
2:35. In the morning. And she still had three hours worth of work left to do. And she had a meeting with The Round Table Conference at seven o'clock sharp. She was going to be a disaster, and no amount of tea or coffee was going to fix that.
She sighed and set
Ties that Bind
He drove the cyborg horse along an old beaten path toward the northeast. It was dark and cold and rainy, just as it always had been. Some things just didn't change. He pulled the wide-brimmed hat further down his forehead to combat the wind as it sprayed a particularly icy splatter of rain into his face.
"Um...D…" the voice of the symbiot called from beneath his gloved hand on the horse's reins, "Are we going where I think we're going?"
D paused before answering, "Yes."
"Do we have to? I mean…he hasn't moved from that damn room for at least 300 years, why do we have to go back…" it whined, and continued in a small annoy

Alucard was tired, the affair in south america had tired him out completely. If only he could find out where Walter had hidden the blood bags...Walter [on cammand from Sir Integra Winegates Hellsing] moved the selection of bloodbags every sunday during the day. Once Alucard would find them, he would drain them and slump back into his "royal" chair, and most definately take a long nap.
So far he had searched all over the usual places, the kitchen, the study, the living room, the office, the library, the soldiers coffin, the maintenence room, the artillary room, you named the places and he had most likely already looked there. Alucard had even
